Project 3

For my solo clock I originally wanted to create a more landscape concept. I ended up altering it and going for a cityscape, as I grew up with more cities than landscapes. I had quite a bit of trouble with this assignment as I didn't know how exactly wanted to represent time. I wanted to just make a moving sun, stars, and clouds but it wasn't legible. I then decided to follow a tutorial for a working cloud. 50 minutes later and I had working clouds. I struggled getting the clouds to work properly based on seconds, so I asked chatGPT for some help. For the buildings itself I drew them in Adobe Illustrator. There are 60 pngs that go from 0-59, with each one changing the amount of lights based on minutes. The sun itself rotates and has a little line to show what hour it is during the day. This personal clock also includes timers that change the background and sun to a dark blue and moon, it also includes things from my personal life. Things such as waking up, doing homework, class, and the currently my favorite game to play right now.

Hour = sun/moon

Minutes = lights on the building

Seconds = clouds growing and shrinking
